In spite of the haters, Chiquis Rivera has made history by becoming the first woman to top the Billboard Latin albums chart since her late mom Jenni Rivera.

Her debut studio album, 'Ahora' sold over 7,000 copies in just the first week.

Her mother was the last woman to hold the title in December of last year when she opened at the No. 1 spot with '1 Vida - 3 Historias: Metamorfosis - Despedida de Culican.'

According to Billboard, Chiquis and Jenni are also the first mother/daughter combination to reach No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. They are the third parent/child combination following Vicente and Alejandro Fernandez and Julio and Enrique Iglesias.
