A KSNT reporter was filming a piece on Kansas' Fort Riley when cicadas, 'attacked.'

"OK, nope! Not doing it!" KSNT reporter Katya Leick said.

We feel bad for being so entertained by reporter Katya Leick's misfortune, but she said it's all okay.

Leick even posted the video to her Facebook and YouTube page, writing, "Talk about a ROUGH DAY at work!!"

Even her station, KSNT, posted the vid to its news website. Other stations followed suit.

Cicadas are currently swarming the Great Plains. They've been sleeping underground for the past 17 years, and we're sure Leick wishes they had stayed there and out of her face.

No worries. Leick hung tough and eventually got through her sign-off.

"At Fort Riley, Katya Leick, KSNT News," Leick said as she finished.

Just a note — while this is easier said than done — you don't need to be scared of the noisy bugs. They aren't aggressive toward humans.
