The 'honeymoon' stage marks the start of every relationship. In an isolated bubble of bliss, you go through the motions of trying to make each other smile with cute gestures, introducing each other to the parents, making a good impression on the friends, and attempting to seem as cute and cool as possible. Honeymoon:
You text him 30 minutes after getting out of the shower letting him know you're jumping in the shower and will be ready in 20. This way he doesn't know how long it really takes you to get ready for date night.

You know the importance of keeping the mystery alive. Burping out loud or getting food in your teeth in front of him would be mortifying.

Now:
You text him to pick up some Tums on his way home from Duane Reade.

Honeymoon:
He brings you flowers on special occasions

Now:
He brings you food on special occasions

Honeymoon:
He likes you because you're chill, down to earth, smart, and you have similar interests.

Now:
He loves you because you're a self-sufficient hot mess who keeps him on his toes and loves to eat as much as he does.
