Pat Robertson: Tell a grieving mom who lost her baby that the child could have been Hitler
Christian Broadcasting Network televangelist Pat Robertson raised eyebrows across the country when he suggested that a caller tell a grieving mom who lost her three-year-old that it was God's plan, and that he may have grown up to be Hitler.The 85-year-old host of "The 700 Club" was asked a simple question by a viewer the other day -- the woman asked what she should say to her grieving co-worker who lost her child after a long illness.
This was his response:
"As far as God's concerned, He knows the end from the beginning and He sees a little baby and that little baby could grow up to be Adolf Hitler, he could grow up to be Joseph Stalin, he could grow up to be some serial killer, or he could grow up to die of a hideous disease. God sees all of that, and for that life to be terminated while he's a baby, he's going to be with God forever in Heaven so it isn't a bad thing."

This isn't the first time Robertson has opened his mouth and had something startling come out. There was the episode back in 2013 where he told one viewer that it's "natural" for a husband to wander, but it's a woman's job to make him want to stay. Oh, and how about that time that Robertson said people following low carb diets are violating the principles of God?
