Is President Obama Smoking Again?

By INSIDE EDITION

Is that a pack of cigarettes in President Obama's hand?

That's the big question after the release of a photo of the president with the Italian Prime Minister was posted on Instagram by the Italian government.

The photo was taken in Germany as the two leaders have stepped out onto the balcony, the way a smoker would if he was about to light up.

According to White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, "He isn't" smoking when asked about it today during his daily briefing.

In 2013, President Obama was caught on an open microphone at the United Nations saying, "I haven't had a cigarette probably in six years. That's 'cause I'm scared of my wife."

The White House says the president is still a non-smoker.
