Amazon to Open 1M-Square-Foot Distribution Center in Central N.J.

DALLAS (AP) -- Inc. says it will open a new site in Dallas, its fourth fulfillment center in Texas. official Mike Roth says the agreement announced Tuesday will create hundreds of full-time jobs. Workers at the Dallas center will process smaller items such as books, electronics and consumer goods for the e-commerce giant.

The joint venture also involves Clarion Partners and Trammell Crow Company.

Seattle-based's other Texas fulfillment centers are in Coppell, Haslet and Schertz.
