You made it! The weekend is finally here, and a great sports weekend it shall be. Here are the top games to keep an eye on over the next few days.

Friday, June 5
Texas Rangers vs. Kansas City Royals, 8:10 p.m. ET

You're probably confused as to why a seemingly random MLB game is the best way to spend your Friday evening. Well, familiarize yourself with Chi Chi Gonzalez.

Both NHL and NBA Finals series are on hiatus until Saturday, but this pitching matchup should be entertaining enough to hold you over. The man they call Chi Chi made his major league debut for Texas earlier this week, and carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning. He was the team's top pitching prospect and seems to have earned himself a spot in the rotation—at least for the time being.

On the hill for Kansas City will be Edinson Volquez, who boasts a 2.95 ERA for the second-place Royals.

Saturday, June 6
Belmont Stakes, 6:50 p.m. ET

Even if horse racing typically isn't your thing, you'll want to keep an eye on the Belmont Stakes, just in case history is made. After winning the first two legs of the ever-elusive Triple Crown, American Pharoah is one victory away from accomplishing what no horse has since 1978.

Pharoah will race out of post lane No. 5 with jockey Victor Espinoza. At 2-3 odds, Vegas seems convinced that this year will finally break the Triple Crown drought.

Stanley Cup Finals, Game 2: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning, 7:15 p.m. ET

Almost immediately after the Stakes, switch over to NBC for Stanley Cup Finals, as the Lightning try to even the series up at a game a piece. Chicago took Game 1 in thrilling fashion, on a Antoine Vermette goal to put the Blackhawks ahead 2-1 in the closing minutes.

In their home arena, Tampa now risks falling behind 2-0 before traveling to Chicago for Game 3 on Monday.

Sunday, June 7
NBA Finals Game 2: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors, 8 p.m. ET

After an exhilarating Game 1, the Cavs and Warriors face off for Game 2 on Sunday evening. And there's plenty to discuss in the days leading up.

After having to leave Game 1 with a knee issue, Kyrie Irving's status is far from certain. As the Cavs learned during the overtime period of Game 1, relying completely on LeBron James for offense can only take them so far. James exploded for 44 points on 38 shots on Thursday, with Irving accounting for 22 shots and 23 points. If Irving can't go, it'll make matters that much more daunting for Cleveland against Stephen Curry's Dubs.
