After spending the previous three years of his career with the New York Knicks, Iman Shumpert is certainly thrilled to be in an NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's just not crazy about the location.

After catching the film San Andreas with his girlfriend Teyana Taylor, Shumpert isn't really with the idea of spending a few nights in California, given the city-shattering earthquakes and tidal waves depicted in the movie.

Collapsing building, flooded cities—it's a reasonable fear to have. So he hit the Warriors up on Twitter with a special request.

The team wasn't exactly on board with the idea. The home-court advantage rules will remain in place.

With that, the teams are set to play Game 1 at Oracle Arena at 9 p.m. ET Thursday. As long as Shump's fears don't come to life and San Francisco still exists by gametime.
