Throwback Thursday: Today in viral video history
On June 4, 2012, Alex Chadwick of the Chicago Music Exchange uploaded a video of himself playing 100 classic guitar riffs in one take. In his clip, which was called "100 Riffs (A Brief History of Rock N' Roll)," he takes viewers all the way from Chet Atkins to St. Vincent. The video blew up in the world of social media with thousands of people tweeting about it.

The viral video has since racked up over 13 million views and become a YouTube classic.
