Joc Pederson hits longest home run of the season (Video)

Joc Pederson Follows in Father's Footsteps With Dodgers

Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson hit a 467-foot home run in the first game of the team's doubleheader against the Rockies on Tuesday afternoon at Coors Field, but he didn't stop there.

Pederson saved his best effort for the game that followed, and in the third inning, he crushed a pitch from David Hale over the fence in center field that traveled 480 feet. It was the longest home run hit by any player this season.

The ball careened off Pederson's bat at a ridiculous speed of 110.8 mph.

It was Pederson's 16th home run of the season. The 23-year-old slugger clearly has a bright future ahead of him.
