Kim Kardashian opens up about baby no. 2: 'I'm just going to try to enjoy it'

It was revealed on Sunday that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a second baby after a long struggle to conceive. On Monday, Kim made her first red carpet appearance since the announcement, at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York City.

The 34-year-oldKeeping Up With the Kardashians star stopped to talk with ET's Eva Chen about her long-awaited second pregnancy, and revealed the one thing she's hoping for in the next few months.

"Hopefully this time I don't get preeclampsia. Hopefully, this time, I just have a healthier pregnancy," Kim said, referring to her first pregnancy with her daughter North West, in which she was diagnosed with the potentially life-threatening medical condition. "I'm just going to try to enjoy it."

Kim also opened up about Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover, which has taken the world by storm since it was revealed early Monday morning -- just hours after Kim announced her pregnancy.

"It was so beautiful," Kim said, smiling. "I actually went to the shoot, and that was my first time meeting Caitlyn. She's beautiful, and I'm so proud that she can just be her authentic self. I guess that's what life is about."
