Will The View be getting two new permanent additions?
At the end of the broadcast on Thursday, The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg stood with Collins and Symone where she told viewers, "We love saying it, but Raven and Michelle will be back tomorrow. We're trying to make it permanent, so write in to everybody."
With Goldberg saying that they are "trying" to secure the two permanent spots, it's unclear if the decision is final, but it's safe to say that it's being closely considered.
Aside from Goldberg, the newcomers would be joining actress Rosie Perez and political commentator Nicolle Wallace, who were hired on as co-hosts in September.
"I would love to be a part of The View in more capacity," the 29-year-old actress shared. "I love those ladies, I love talking about current topics, I love getting dressed up again every day and having fun with those women. I think they are very smart, they're very respectful of each other, and everyone respects each other's opinions and lets us get it out."
She went on to explain that she's had a great time on the show, and that she feels that she fits in well with the others in the cast. She also explained that the show gave her the opportunity to show a different side of herself that others might not often see.
"A lot of people are used to me being quiet, or very, very politically correct, or young and only doing comedy, and to really be able to have a conversation between these ladies is great," she said. "Working with Whoopi Goldberg is heaven, Nicolle Wallace has been like my new best friend, and Rosie Perez really keeps me on my toes, so I'm enjoying myself."
The View has had a long history of co-host turnover since it debuted in 1997. In March, former The View co-host Jenny McCarthy sat down with Howard Stern where she shared a dire prediction for the future of the show. Check out the video below to hear what McCarthy thinks about The View.
