Best and worst dressed at Cannes Film Festival 2015

WORST: Actress Charlotte Vandermeersch looked mismatched and frumpy in ill-fitting blue pants and a sheer black top.

WORST: TV personality Vincent McDoom was a hot mess in a tattered white minidress that looked like a bundle of toilet paper.

BEST: Chanel Iman looked breathtaking in a plunging nude chiffon gown with white embellishments and a gorgeous silhouette.

WORST: Was model Izabel Goulet's minidress from the children's section?

WORST: It's pretty difficult for Natalie Portman to disappoint us -- and don't get us wrong, she looks gorgeous here -- but this Rodarte frock, with it's sheer paneling and gauzy strips is a little too cheeky for the daytime photo call. (Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage)

BEST: Cate Blanchett was all smiles in her sophisticated black gown with a plunging nekline, blouson sleeves and a fun belted bow.

WORST: Natalia Shustova looked like a big cupcake, or teacup, in this loud floral ballgown with a massive bow.

BEST: Adriana Lima was sleek and chic in a sexy black velvet number with red lips, glam hair and a diamon bangle.

BEST: Actress Uma Thurman achieved Cannes fashion perfection as she exited a yacht in a gorgeous green gown with a plunging neckline. (Photo by Marc Piasecki/GC Images,)
BEST: Diane Kruger definitely showed off her best assets in this sheer and sparkly gown. The low-draped side shows off just enough skin without being too revealing and the super sheer side panels achieved the same effect. (Photo by Tony Barson/FilmMagic)
BEST: Jane Fonda, 77, continued to prove that age ain't nothing but a number as she ruled the red carpet in a striking blue gown with decorative slits. She tipped off her look with a set of chandelier earrings.  (Photo by Mike Marsland/WireImage)
WORST: Model Lindsay Ellingson doesn't typically strike out in the fashion department, but this futuristic gown with sheer panels feels way too 90s. (Photo by Antonio de Moraes Barros Filho/FilmMagic,)
BEST: All we have to say is, "Wow!" Eva Longoria looked every inch the glamazon in this midnight blue gown with textured folds along the skirt. (Photo by Kristina Nikishina/Epsilon/Getty Images)
BEST: We were instantly taken in by Cate Blanchett's watercolor-esque gown. The billowing fabric and empire waist just scream glam. (Photo by Gisela Schober/Getty Images)
BEST: Big points go to Salma Hayek for keeping it simple at the Cannes red carpet in this form-fitting frock, but amping up the look with a pop of color. (Photo by Antonio de Moraes Barros Filho/FilmMagic,)

WORST: Maybe our moms are rubbing off on us, but we can't stand a wrinkle on the red carpet. Something about the draping on Bar Rafaeli's white gown feels off to us, like a dining room napkin -- and the messy pony isn't doing her any favors.

BEST: Sienna Miller stepped up her game for the more formal part of the evening and absolutely stunned in a navy, one-shoulder gown. The pop of color on her lips sealed off the amazing look.  (Photo by Venturelli/WireImage)
WORST: Jane Seymour literally hasn't aged a day, but her form-fitting frock with a mullet-style skirt left little to be desired. We feel like the dress was a little more prom than Cannes. (Photo by Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images)

WORST: We typically don't mind a feathered skirt, but something about the beaded bodice makes the whole gown look thick like molasses. Not the worst look, but definitely not Naomi Watts' best.

WORST: Viann Zhang definitely caught every photographer's eye. The  Chinese actress turned heads in an elaborate gown with an Elizabethan-style collar and an enormous train. We'll give her points for originality, but the look wasn't one of our favorites. (Photo by George Pimentel/WireImage)

BEST: Charlize Theron wowed in a yellow gown with a dramatic train. Glam curls waves and simple accessories completed the South African beauty's gorgeous look.

WORST: Russian actress Elena Lenina looked foolish -- and straight out of the "Hunger Games" capital in this wild gown with wings -- not to mention that Marge Simpson-inspired updo.

WORST: Woody Allen was flanked by his leading ladies Emma Stone and Parker Posey. While Stone's look was youthful and chic, Posey's look was a bit eccentric.  (Photo by Andreas Rentz/Getty Images)

BEST: Emma Stone looked every inch the glamazon in a white dress with a striking, long train at the premiere of "Irrational Man." (Photo by Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images)

BEST: Rachel Weisz definitely knows the value of simplicity. The gorgeous gal was white-hot in an A-line gown with a cut-out shrug. (Photo by Ben A. Pruchnie/Getty Images,,)

BEST: It's literally impossible for Miranda Kerr to ever have an off-night in the fashion department. The catwalker showed off her famous figure in a pink dress with a sky-high slit and a plunging neckline. (Photo by Alex B. Huckle/GC Images,)
