Ricky Schroder will be LIVE on AOL BUILD to talk about war documentary, 'The Fighting Season'

Actor, producer and film director Ricky Schroder is stopping by the AOL BUILD studios to chat about his new war documentary, "The Fighting Season."

Taking a step back from being in front of the camera, Ricky Schroder is the executive producer of the new war documentary. The documentary focuses on three months of first hand accounts of American soldiers fighting in Afghanistan.

The six-part docu-series offers up-close footage, giving viewers an intimate look at the war, as well as a closer look behind the front lines. Schroder spent over 100 days with the American troops during war with the Taliban to gain the real-life experience and footage for the film. The documentary also explores the politics and overall operations of the war during a three-month span in Afghanistan in the spring of 2014.
