Beau Willimon and Jennifer Baumgardner will be LIVE on AOL BUILD to talk about 'SLUT: The Play'

Updated

If you are a Netflix junkie, you most definitely have recognized this next BUILD guest.

American playwright and screenwriter, Beau Willimon is most notably known as the show runner and writer for the wildly popular Netflix show, "House of Cards." However, Willimon isn't here to talk season four or whether Claire will run for President, but rather about a different project he is passionate about.

Beau Willimon is just one of many of the supporters of "SLUT: The Play." "SLUT" tells the story of a 16-year-old girl who is raped by three friends while enjoying a night out in New York City. The play brings to light the detrimental impact of slut culture and how it can affect young people.

Along with Willimon, Jennifer Baumgardner will also be gracing the AOL BUILD studios. Baumgardner is a writer, activist, filmmaker and lecturer whose work focuses on women's topics such as abortion and sexuality. She s currently producing the StopSlut project.

Over the past two years, it has been the focus of teenage actors from The Arts Effect, drawing on real experiences from high school. Willimon and Baumgardner, along with Kathy Najimy, Gloria Steinem, and Teen Vogue, have spoken out in support of the play.

You definitely won't want to miss Beau Willimon and Jennifer Baumgardner LIVE on AOL BUILD today, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Tune in LIVE on AOL BUILD as seen above, as well as AOL.com's Periscope.
