Blythe Danner defends her daughter Gwyneth Paltrow in the most mom-like way
Blythe Danner can switch from promoting a movie to adorable proud mama in a second and we can't get over it!
The 72-year-old actress was on Today promoting her new movie, I'll See You In My Dreams, but when the conversation turned to criticism of her daughter -- 42-year-old actress/singer/possible minor deity Gwyneth Paltrow -- she completely switched into total mom mode and started gushing.
"So much of it is just trying to sell papers or whatever that's called over the Internet," said Blythe. "I know that she's the most extraordinary girl who can do everything."
"I think she's so accomplished that people kind of get intimidated by it," added Blythe. "Great cook, great mom, great actress."
And of course she wouldn't forget about her son, Jake Paltrow! Blythe actually mommed out about him as well.
"My son is pretty fabulous too," she said as the interview was ending. "Great writer, great director..."
