Kim Kardashian Talks 'About Bruce' Special: 'Our Goal Is to Help Other Families'

Obviously, it's still a sensitive time for the Kardashian family.

ET caught up with Kim Kardashian at her book signing at Barnes & Noble in New York City on Tuesday for her much talked-about selfie book, Selfish. The 34-year-old reality star opened up about the motive behind E!'s upcoming two-hour About Bruce special, explaining that just because it might seem she's completely in tune with Bruce these days, doesn't mean she isn't also dealing with complex feelings.

"You know, I think that everyone handles it differently," she said about Bruce's transition. "Just because I am super-supportive doesn't mean that I haven't felt every emotion possible like all my sisters."

E's two-part special, About Bruce, documents the intimate conversations Bruce had with his family as they learn about and discuss the transition.

"Our goal in sharing this is to help other families going through with this," she explained. "It's not an easy transition but we are so happy that he can live his life the way he wants to."

But clearly, not everyone in the family is as comfortable with the 65-year-old former Olympian's transition as Kim.

In a preview of the special, Kris Jenner has a breakdown.

"I have these memories of this life," she cries to Kim, "And I feel sometimes like it didn't exist."
