Prince George Excited To Meet Princess Charlotte

It seems like everyone in the world is excited for the arrival of the newest baby royal and her big brother is no exception.

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a baby girl on May 2nd at 8:34am. Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is the second child for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Their eldest, Prince George, was shuttled to St. Mary's hospital in the arms of his royal father just a few hours after Princess Charlotte came into the world.

Us Weekly is exclusively reporting that the toddler was excited to meet his new sibling. "George was aware that he would soon have a new brother or sister and has been excited throughout the pregnancy," An insider told the magazine. "He might have been a little shy around the new baby, but I heard everything went well. He's great around other children. He's a very curious boy."

At two-years-old, Prince George is third in line for the throne and now, of course, he has a new baby sister to look after. The royal family left the hospital less than 12 hours after the Duchess gave birth. She looked impossibly fresh faced thanks to that new mother's glow --- and a royal glam squad.
