Here's Lauryn Hill doing an acoustic version of 'Doo-Wop (That Thing)' to brighten up your monday

Updated

Mondays suck. So does missing a flight to your own concert, which is exactly what happened to Lauryn Hill over the weekend, when she was unable to travel to Lagos, Nigeria, for a show.

Never one to completely bail on her fans (even if it means showing up three hours late), she apologized by performing an acoustic version of her classic "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" straight from her living room, joined by her backup singers and even her 7-year-old daughter Sarah.

Because if there's one Lauryn Hill we'll always have a soft spot for, it's acoustic Lauryn. Happy Monday!
