Two little girls fold 1,989 paper cranes for Taylor Swift's mom
This is so unbelievably sweet.
In light of Taylor Swift's mom recent cancer diagnosis, two Salt Lake City sisters have decided to send the "Blank Space" singer's mom a big message of support and love.
"There is a Japanese legend that if you fold 1,000 paper cranes, you would get one wish," said the older sister, Sam.
So Sam and Jo spent three months folding 1,989 paper cranes (because of Taylor's 1989 album) to wish for her mom -- 57-year-old Andrea Finlay -- to "kick cancer's butt."
In early April, Taylor posted an emotional letter on Tumblr revealing her mother's cancer diagnosis.
"She wanted you to know why she may not be at as many shows this tour," Taylor wrote. "She's got an important battle to fight."
We're sure Andrea and Taylor will appreciate the support and the beautiful cranes.
