Wife surprises husband with pregnancy announcement after five years of infertility

INSIDE EDITION -- For five years, Doug and Brenda Price have wanted to have a baby, but struggled with infertility. Then, Brenda got the big news that they were expecting a baby.

For their 10th wedding anniversary, the couple sat down to make a video entering a contest for a trip to Aruba, where they went on their honeymoon.

Brenda says she can never surprise her husband, but this video turned out to be his biggest surprise when she announced she was pregnant, and it happened 100 percent naturally.

Doug's stunned reaction quickly turned to tears of joy for both of them after their five-year struggle to have a baby.

Brenda told INSIDE EDITION, "We have been amazed at the response to it. We love seeing people share in our joy and giving hope to those who have battled infertility. I still can't watch it without crying."

The couple spoke to HLN's The Daily Share with advice for other couples struggling with infertility.

"Not giving up hope is the number one thing," said Brenda.

Doug said, "We wanted people to have hope and know that there's power bigger than us that can make things happen."

They didn't win that trip to Aruba, but Doug still thinks they got the better end of the deal.
