Wednesday night, "American Idol" hopeful Rayvon Owen narrowly escaped elimination for the fourth time in a row, something host Ryan Seacrest said had never been done before in the history of the show.

But later in the episode, he definitely proved he deserved to be given a second, or fourth, chance to stay in the competition with this incredible tribute to his mother.

''Cause everything starts from something, something would be nothing, nothing if your heart didn't dream with me," sang Rayvon Owen on "American Idol."

Rayvon chose to cover Justin Bieber's "Believe" to honor his mom, simply because he "wouldn't be here without her."

And Mama Owen wasn't the only one who was deeply touched by his powerful performance.

"I was, I'm crying here, the whole, everybody's crying! It's crazy!" said Jennifer Lopez.

Yeah, if you can move Jennifer Lopez to tears, we're pretty sure you can cement a spot in the top three. Hint, hint, America!

And we aren't the only ones rooting for Rayvon. Gossip Cop called his performance "an unbelievable comeback."

And a writer for Bustle raved, "Owen has a pure talent and deserves a career in this industry. He's nearing the end of the road on his Idol journey, but something tells me his career is just getting [started]."

Well, there's only one way to know for sure - tune into "American Idol" next week on Fox.
