Justin Bieber is joining Ben Stiller's "Zoolander 2″ in an unspecified role, according to a posting that Bieber made on his Twitter account.

Bieber will be joining a cast that includes Stiller, Owen Wilson, Billy Zane, Will Ferrell and Penelope Cruz.

"Zoolander 2″ opens on Feb. 16, 2016.

Stiller and Wilson announced the film's release date by walking in the Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week in March. The sequel is written by Stiller and Justin Theroux, with Stiller set to direct.

Paramount showed a video clip last week at CinemaCon of Stiller as he reprised the goofy Derek Zoolander, saying, "It's great to be at Comic-Con," he said.

Stiller noted that the original film grossed $46 million domestically and a "whopping" $15 million internationally in 2001. And he promised that the sequel will be bigger.

"'Zoolander 2′ is going to drop like a giant bomb - only a good bomb where that explodes with all this money that you can keep," he said.
