AOL announced today the release of its upcoming digital docu-series, "Journey to the Draft", which will premiere on April 28 on AOL.com.

The series will release nine episodes on April 28, followed by the finale on May 6 for 10 episodes in total streaming on journeytothedraft.com. NFL Hall-of-Famer Deion Sanders serves as executive producer and narrator for the series.

"Journey to the Draft" is an organic, unscripted, docu-series that follows three college football players, all with promising professional careers. These young men attend different schools across the country and play a variety of positions on the field, but at the end of the day they share one goal: to play in the NFL. The AOL docu-series follows players Leonard Williams, Kevin White and Marcus Peters.

""Journey To The Draft" brings viewers behind the scenes and shows them the emotion and intensity the players experience. " said Dermot McCormack, President of AOL Video and AOL Studios. "Every episode, we will take viewers inside the plays and politics; the locker rooms, press rooms and dorm rooms; like never before."

"Journey to the Draft" follows three college football players as they make their way towards their dreams of playing professional football in the NFL, but first, they have to make it through the draft.

About the players:

A Florida native, Leonard Williams is arguably the best player available in the 2015 NFL Draft. A quiet man off-the-field, but a lion between the lines, Leonard is a versatile player with strength, athleticism, flexibility and fluidity with great range. As a true freshman in 2012, Leonard was named the Pac 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year.

At 6'3" and 210 pounds, Kevin White, from Plainfield, NJ, is a pure wide receiver with an effortless stride, amazing hands and incredible speed. After two seasons at Lackawanna College, Kevin has become one of the breakout stars of the 2014 college football season where, as a starter at West Virginia, he finished the season with 109 receptions, 1,447 yards and ten touchdowns. Kevin was named an All-American by several publications in 2014 and was a finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award for the most outstanding receiver in college football. After running the 40-yard dash in just 4.35 seconds at the NFL Combine, Kevin established himself as the top wide receiver available and a top ten pick in the 2015 NFL Draft

Marcus Peters is one of the most talented and the best cover cornerback in all of college football. He was named to NFL.com's Midseason All-American team. However, Marcus was dismissed from the team after a disagreement with a coach. Marcus has all of the talent, but the Oakland, CA native and young father must now prove that he's overcome his off-the-field issues and earn the trust of NFL teams to be a first round pick.

"Journey to the Draft" is produced for AOL Originals by Relativity Television and Relativity Sports. Executive producers are Tom Forman, Happy Walters, Adam Alcabes, Brad Bishop, and Adam Fisher. The show concept was created by Relativity Sports, who represents the three athletes involved in the docu-series.
