A soldier surprised his son by photobombing his school portrait.According to WTVD, Army Cpl. James Bass of North Carolina, who has spent the past year stationed in Kuwait, surprised his third grade son Joshua on Friday during Pearsontown Magnet Elementary's picture day.

The eight-year-old got to walk away from picture day with his father who's on leave.

This isn't the first emotional army reunion we've seen recently. Last Saturday, U.S. Army Sgt. Daniel Urman surprised his parents at an Arizona Coyotes hockey game. The surprise literally knocked his father off his feet.
