Darren Criss is ready for his close up.

Criss, who was last on Broadway for a very brief stint starring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2012, debuted the poster for his run in Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Monday (April 13), and -- as is the standard -- he's got plenty of glam makeup on to assist in stepping into Hedwig's high heels.

The show -- which centers on a transgender rocker living in East Germany attempting to realize her faraway rock-star dreams -- opened on Broadway in April 2014 and has been running to rave reviews since. Neil Patrick Harris won the Tony for best actor in a musical last year for the role. When Harris departed, Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall and, most recently, original Hedwig John Cameron Mitchell all did short stints on Broadway.

"I put on some makeup...," Criss tweeted alongside the below photo, a nod to lyrics from the show. Criss, who recently wrapped his time on Glee, will kick off his limited run on April 29.
