Penn Jillette's Latest Trick, Making 105 Lbs Disappear

For Penn Jillette's latest trick, he made a hundred and five pounds disappear!

The sixty-year-old illusionist told People Magazine he's dropped from 330 to 225 pounds since drastically changing his eating habits in December.

"I was on six very powerful meds to bring the blood pressure down," said the 6'7" entertainer. "My doctor said I needed to get my weight down, and if I brought it down 30 or 40 lbs. It would be a little easier to control. And then he said something in passing that completely blew my mind - he said, 'If you got down to 230, you probably wouldn't need any of the meds.' "

For the next few months he consumed a thousand calories a day, allowing him to lose nearly a pound per day.

Since he reached his weight loss goal on March fifth, Penn has stopped restricting the amount he eats and instead stays away from animal products, processed grains, and any added sugar or salt.

"I could probably have a steak or a doughnut every couple of weeks," he added. "But I just haven't felt like it. When you're feeling as bad as I felt, and you go to feeling as good as I feel, the temptation to go back to doing what you were doing when you felt bad is not very great."

However, the comedic illusionist says their is a major downside to dropping ten pants sizes: He needs to buy a completely new wardrobe for his Las Vegas act, Penn and Teller.
