'Pawn Stars:' Copy of 'The Wizard Of Oz' Is Worth Thousands

On Thursday night's episode of "Pawn Stars," we thought we were in Oz when we heard how much one copy of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" was estimated to be worth.

"Should the restoration go well, I could see that this copy restored fetching up to $30,000," said expert Rebecca on "Pawn Stars."

"That's, uh, seemingly better," said Adam.

You heard right - $30,000 for a children's book in pretty rough shape. What helped it's value though - it's a first edition copy, and it was also signed by the author.

Apparently though, when it comes to expensive books, this is just the tip of the iceberg - or should we say first yellow brick on the road?

According to a writer with Buzzfeed, some other first editions, namely "Book of Wealth" and "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," are both valued at around $100,000 each.

Regardless, now we'll be looking through our book collection...and if we find anything, we'll be skipping off to Oz too.
