Metropolis In Florida Ranked As City With Highest Well-Being In U.S.



It seems all those senior citizens moving to Florida have been onto something. A metropolis in the Sunshine State has just been ranked as the city with the highest well-being in the United States.

A new report from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index ranked the top one hundred cities by their comparative well-being, and the top slot went to Florida's North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton metropolitan area. Gallup conducted 176,000 interviews across the country, asking questions on topics like physical health, financial stability, relationships, and community.Other cities that rounded out the top five are Honolulu, Hawaii; Raleigh, North Carolina; Ventura, California; and El Paso, Texas.

Now on the other end of the list were Indianapolis, Indiana; Knoxville, Tennessee; Dayton, Ohio; and Toledo, Ohio. In fact, according to the index five communities in Ohio ranked in the bottom ten for lowest overall well-being.
