Kathy Bates is joining 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Ryan Murphy is great at keeping his fans on their toes. In anticipation of "American Horror Story: Hotel", Murphy has just informed his Twitter followers that we'll be (thankfully) seeing a familiar face: Kathy Bates!

From having her head served on a platter to being the best bearded lady there ever was, we're excited to see what happens to her next as a wonderful addition to an already wonderful cast. Starring among Bates are Lady Gaga, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer and "AHS" alum, Chloe Sevigny. As incredible as this cast is, Jessica Lange did confirm that she would not be coming back for season 5.

Is that awful? Yes. She was an incredible leading lady, but according to Murphy, Bates will be running the hotel and we could not be more excited.
