It's official: Nothing bores children more than politics
Ah, out of the mouths of babes. Kids have no filters and they don't care how important, rich or famous you are. And, really, what could kids care less about than politics? The 6-year-old Lucy Howarth certainly does not care about politics or politicians, and she was not shy about showing it this week when the Prime Minister of the U.K. stopped by.
According to Buzzfeed, David Cameron dropped by Lucy's school to read to the students. Lucy, however, wasn't into it and face planted into the desk. BORING!
If politicians think the media is their harshest critic, they're wrong. Children are impossible to impress.
A meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office? BORING!
How about the Prime Minister of Australia having a chat with your class? BORING!
Being the flower girl at the epic Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton? BORING!
What about an ice cream social inside the White House with the President of the United States? BORING!
But, hey, boring the pants off children is probably step up from scaring the living daylights out of babies.
