Raise your glass if you like local beer!

April 7 is National Beer Day, so in honor of the holiday* we've rounded up the best places to drink a great local beer in every state and Washington D.C.

Some of these spots, like New York's Brooklyn Brewery and Washington state's Redhook Brewery, are the home breweries of well-known national labels. Others, like Pennsylvania's Percy Street BBQ and South Dakota's Monks House of Ale Repute, are bars with epic beer lists that feature an assortment of local brews. A few, like Uncle George's Lounge in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park and the Arizona Room at the Grand Canyon, allow you to sip beers from nearby brewers while staring at the places they were named after.

*Ok, so it's not an "official" holiday, but National Beer Day marks the day Prohibition started rolling back and drinking (low alcohol) beer became legal again. Breweries and bars around the country offer special discounts and events, so check your local bar to see what's on tap.
