On the series premiere of "Lip Sync Battle," Jimmy Fallon, the king of the lip sync himself, was bested by none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Let the syncing begin!

"Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin' and we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive," sang Dwayne Johnson on "Lip Sync Battle."

"I bow to you! That's how you do it! That's how you do it!" said Jimmy Fallon.

Yup, Dwayne totally kicked Jimmy's butt with his epic renditions of "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gee's and Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off."

And along with the undying satisfaction of beating Jimmy at his own game, Dwayne also won a super cool belt.

Critics were a little skeptical ahead of "Lip Sync's" premiere, but it looks like it did pretty well - the show was trending on Twitter long after the episode aired.

But as a writer for Vulture notes, lip-syncing shows aren't exactly a new idea.

The first of its kind actually came out in the 1980s and was creatively dubbed, "Puttin' on the Hits."

Now, whether this show will be a long-lasting hit remains to be seen, but we certainly hope it's ... stayin' alive, stayin' alive!
