Kelly Clarkson has seen unquestionable success since "American Idol" back in 2002.

But on Wednesday night's show, she brought fans back to the beginning by belting out the song she auditioned with more than a decade ago -- Etta James's "At Last."

For her throwback performance, Clarkson got a standing ovation from the audience and even brought a few crew members backstage to tears during that amazing performance.

As a writer for Gossip Cop put it, "Not surprisingly, Clarkson killed it with emotion packed into every note."
Though nervous she wasn't on key during the song because her ear monitors weren't working, nobody seemed to notice, especially fans on Twitter, with some even declaring that no one else would ever be able to top Queen Kelly as the best "American Idol."

But Kelly told People before the episode aired that's not what this year's contestants should be focused on. "This is supposed to be fun ... You want to make sure you're loving every minute of it," she told them.
