Police scramble to catch cow on the loose on University of Kentucky campus
The University of Kentucky men's basketball team may be cruising toward a perfect record, but the police force didn't have such luck Tuesday.
Local media in Lexington Ky. lit up Tuesday morning when a bull or steer escaped and began causing traffic problems. UK spokeswoman Kathy Johnson confirmed to the Lexington Herald-Leader that the animal was spotted in multiple locations and that campus police were trying to corner it.
According to a WKYT, "Officials captured the cow about 10:45 a.m., but then he got loose again."
Cow: 1; Cops: 0.
If nothing else, the bovine adventure inspired some excellent puns and Snapchat-worthy moments.
