It's always amazing when someone gets to meet their idol. But if you're a little boy and your idol is a professional baseball player, it's a reaaaaalllly big deal - and an even bigger deal if you have no idea it's coming.

This little boy in line at Starbucks had no idea he was standing in front of Detroit Tigers player Justin Verlander. The Tigers pitcher posted this amazing selfie to instagram showing a young fan wearing a t-shirt with his name and jersey number on it.

Surprised is probably putting it mildly. But, unfortunately not everyone is so lucky.

This poor man didn't fare so well. Former Philadelphia Phillies star Roy Halladay posted this picture.

What a jerk move?! Apparently Halladay thought it was funnier not to let the fan know he was the most oblivious man alive.

Speaking of oblivious fan fails ... These unsuspecting tourists eyeing up the home from Full House were blind to the fact that Uncle F#%^*&G Jesse was literally right behind them ... and he's obvi headed to the Smash Club for a gig with the Rippers.
