5 European cities that are now cheaper to visit

Updated

Dreaming of a European getaway but worried about the price tag? Now might be your chance to visit.

Orbitz reports that travel prices in Europe's most popular cities -- London, Paris, Dublin, Rome and Barcelona -- have all gone down this spring. Paris hotels are an especially good deal right now, averaging $203 per night (that's 14% lower than this time last year).

And while spring airfares are about the same as they have been, prices are dropping for summer travel. The average fare from the U.S. to Paris is about $200 cheaper this summer than it was last year, and flights to London and Rome have dropped by about $100.

Bonus: once you're over there, your dollar will go farther given the current euro and pound exchange rates.
