A producer of several well-known TV talk shows has been released from custody while prosecutors continue to investigate the death of her sister.

The LAPD says 52-year old Jill Blackstone was arrested Monday, initially accused of first degree murder in connection with the death of her deaf, partially blind sister.

Firefighters were called to the Studio City last Saturday, where police say 49-year-old Wendy Blackstone was found dead in an enclosed garage contaminated with carbon monoxide. TMZ says Jill told police that her sister had killed herself, but detectives thought the suicide note looked suspicious and believed it was written by Jill.

Jill has since been released from custody. Prosecutors have not filed any charges against her -- and the L.A. County Coroner's Office has not determined the cause of death.

Blackstone has produced a number of TV talk shows, including "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," "The Sally Jessy Raphael Show" and "The Jerry Springer Show."
