Women who cook and watch cooking shows weigh more than those who just watch

Cooking Shows Are Making Us Fat

A new study shows that cooking shows are making us fat.

Specifically, the study by Appetite magazine breaks viewers down into two categories. Viewers are the people who just sit and watch the shows and doers are the people who watch the shows and then make the recipes.

The study only included women, but they found an 11 pound difference between these categories. This is huge (no pun intended) because it could put into question the whole idea of cooking at home and how it's so much better than eating out or eating foods that are pre-made.
