Golf courses seem to be attracting some intimidating animals in recent days. Last Friday, a snake was spotted hiding out inside a golf hole.

Ed Martinez, who identifies himself as the superintendent at Deerwood Club in Texas shared a photo of the slithery beast on Twitter.

He noted, "Yep not changing this cup today!!" He added the hashtag: #hatesnakes.

The snake species has not been identified thus far, but judging from the photo, it seems to be rather large and looks like it could easily terrify many people.

This fellow isn't the only reptile to get in the way of American's golf games. Last week, photos of a giant gator caught wandering around a Florida golf course were making the rounds online.The images were taken when it happened upon the path of golfers who were preparing to tackle the number 7 green at the Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood.
