FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) -- A juror in the murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez is being questioned by the judge after sending her a note.

Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh returned from a morning break Monday to tell lawyers for each side that she received the note. She did not elaborate.

The court then called in the male juror, and Garsh questioned him at the bench out of the hearing of the public.

Hernandez, his lawyers and prosecutors huddled around.

After the questioning, Garsh left the courtroom.

Jurors have been hearing testimony Monday from a woman who was baby-sitting Hernandez's daughter a few hours before the killing.

Hernandez is charged with killing Odin Lloyd in June 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.
