Kelly Clarkson confirms she dated Justin Guarini

During Thursday night's episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Kelly Clarkson made a confession that has our teenage selves totally freaking out -- and if you guessed it has something to do with her "American Idol" partner in crime Justin Guarini, you're totally right.

"We didn't date during 'Idol.' Which everybody thought we were dating. We did date during ... I feel like we weren't dating during the movie," said Kelly Clarkson on "Watch What Happens Live."

"But you did date a little bit?" asked Andy Cohen.

"We did date a little bit," said Kelly.

"You did," said Andy.

You heard right -- "From Justin to Kelly" was real, people. It was real.

Justin himself recently confirmed the relationship during his one-man cabaret act, appropriately dubbed "Lovesick."

We totally didn't believe it until Kelly put in her two cents, though -- and just when we thought we'd had enough of 2003 for the night, Andy Cohen and Kelly decided to reenact a scene from the very movie where the former lovebirds started dating.

Do we smell a "From Justin to Kelly" sequel? Fans on Twitter were absolutely loving the Justin Guarini blast from the past.
