Bobbi Kristina Brown has always been in the spotlight, but it hasn't always been easy to live her life under the microscope of the public eye.

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter turned 22 on Wednesday, but sadly family and friends were forced to send her well-wishes via social media as she continues to fight for her life at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was one of the first to send birthday wishes to his love early Wednesday morning.

The tension between the Brown and Houston families and Nick Gordon has continued to grow, as Bobbi Kristina's condition remains unstable.

Gordon found Bobbi Kristina face down and unresponsive in their Atlanta home on Jan. 31.Immediately after the incident, rumors began to swirl around what had caused Whitney Houston's daughter's downward spiral. The timing of her accident, a few short weeks before the anniversary of her mother's death, also raised many eyebrows.

Bobbi Kristina's life has certainly had its ups and downs in the shadow of her often-troubled pop star parents.
