Welcome to the world, baby Underwood!

Country superstar Carrie Underwood, 31, and her husband, NHL star Mike Fisher, announced the arrival of their first child, Isaiah Michael Fisher, on her Twitter account Tuesday morning.

The happy mother waited nearly a week before sharing their exciting news –- likely to bask in the bliss of motherhood before the word got out.

Before baby Isaiah's arrival, Underwood dished on the "Today" show that she was excited to be a new mom, but was also a little nervous.

"Sometimes I'll be with my husband and it's like, 'I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life?'"

The former "American Idol" winner wed the Nashville Predators centerman in 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia and announced they were expecting over Labor Day in 2014.

In honor of "Labor" Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier...

Congrats to the new family!
