Kelly Ripa: I looked 'hideous' next to JLo at the Oscars

Kelly Ripa is no stranger to meeting celebrities at this point in her life.

After all, she interviews one or two pretty much every day on her morning talk show, "Live! With Kelly and Michael."

But Kelly confessed to Seth Meyers she still gets starstruck sometimes. And there's one celeb in particular who she loves running into.

"I think that Jennifer Lopez is the most exciting celebrity," said Kelly Ripa on "Late Night."

That's right, JLo is Kelly's favorite star to see in person. So when she spotted the singer at the Oscars this year, she was thrilled. And a little flustered.

"I wore a big ball gown, and I had my hair and makeup done. And you know, you think you look really pretty. I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm turning it up tonight, because it's the Academy Awards. And then JLo comes back and you're like, 'I am hideous. I am a monster,'" said Kelly.

Oh, come on, Kelly! We know JLo looked gorgeous on Oscars night, but that beautiful Christian Siriano gown you rocked at the awards this year was pretty incredible too.

And Kelly works hard to look that good. She told Us Weekly in December she "forces" herself to hit the gym every day. "It gives me that energy at the end of the day, when you're starting to fade, I still have energy."

Ah, so that's where Kelly gets all that infectious energy! And here we were thinking it was from all that coffee she drinks on her show. I mean that's what keeps us running.
