Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho is going to prom

OK, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho is probably a little old for high school. But in this video, he's not heading there to attend classes or even play football.

He's there to surprise Hannah Delmonte. She reached out to him on Instagram and and Twitter to see if she could get him to go to prom with her.

She originally asked him to be her date if she got 2,000 retweets, but Acho upped that to 10,000. 10K proved to be no challenge, though.

She got the retweets she needed, plus some, so she was told she'd have to ask the school board for approval to take Acho. The acting school board president, for the sake of this story at least, was Emmanuel Acho.

"So I already talked to the school board, but would you let me go to prom with you?" he said to the unsuspecting student.

Hannah's parents and school administrators were aware of the surprise, but Hannah was completely shocked.

"I wouldn't have guessed this was going to happen in a million years," Hannah said.

Judging by her Twitter account, she still hadn't recovered from the breathtaking experience -- even contemplating taking a personal day.

Oh, and her dress? Eagles green. Duh.

We're thinking they'll make a great pair - if he leaves his cleats at home.
