Lisa Rinna opens up about husband Harry Hamlin's sobriety

Updated

A shocking confession from Lisa Rinna about her husband, actor Harry Hamlin's, sobriety.

"Harry's been sober, um, three years," said Lisa Rinna on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

"After two brothers dying, that's probably when he said, 'No more,'" said Yolanda Foster.

"I think it just woke him up, and in his mind he said, 'You know what? I have to stop this,' because, you know, it goes back hundreds of years," said Lisa.

"It's a true illness, you know?" said Yolanda.

Yes, Lisa revealed two of Harry's brothers died of alcoholism within six months of each other.

And she admitted to Yolanda Foster and Kyle Richards it was his daughters that eventually convinced him to break the cycle and quit drinking once and for all.

After Harry decided to get sober, Lisa said, "Life just changed because he changed," and she couldn't be more proud of him.

Lisa's confession came just a few hours after Kim Richards intensely asked her to stop talking about her sobriety behind her back.

In the end, Lisa apologized and promised not to talk about Kim anymore. But lo and behold, she brought it up again in the limo on the way to Yolanda's husband's gala, thus, the Harry sobriety talk.

A writer for Bustle predicts this fight isn't over, and we have to agree. "I think we can all take that as a hint that this conflict is most certainly not resolved."

And if you need more proof, the preview of next week's episode shows Lisa pulling a Brandi and throwing a glass of wine in Kim's face. We can't wait to see how that all plays out.
