'Something I Said Did Cross the Line': Giuliana Rancic Apologizes for Dreadlocks Comments

After Zendaya called out E! host Giuliana Rancic's "outrageously offensive" comment about the dreadlocks the teen star wore to the Oscars, Giuliana took to Twitter to apologize.

Giuliana's "Fashion Police" co-star Kelly Osbourne later joined the Twitter conversation to express her disappointment, saying, "Im giving everyone involved 24 hours to make it right or the world will hear how I really feel. contactually Im not allowed to speak!" Kelly even stated that she was considering leaving the show.

Amidst the controversy, Giuliana addressed the matter in a public statement on E! News later in the evening, saying it was "weighing very heavy on [her] heart."

She went on to say, "I do understand that something I said last night did cross the line. I just want everyone to know I didn't intend to hurt anybody, but I have learned, it is not my intent that matters, it's the result. And the result is that people are offended, including Zendaya, and that is not okay."
