It looks like Bruce Jenner won't be keeping up with the Kardashians much longer.

The popular television series is entering into its 10th season and the 65-year-old's last.

At first, Hollywood Rumor reported that Bruce was getting kicked off the show and season 10 would show Kim, Khloe and Kourtney leading separate lives from their step dad as a way to push him out of the series altogether.

But new sources tell Radar Online a different story.

A Kardashian family insider told Radar Online, "Bruce is the one who wanted out of the show because he wants nothing to do with Kris and her empire."

And another source says, "Bruce is being phased out of the show in the upcoming Season 10, but it is by his own choice. Bruce is definitely leaving the show willingly and cannot wait until he is no longer locked under the blanket of Kris's contractual obligations."

Whatever the reason for his absence, Bruce will be plenty busy without the show's cameras following him around all day.

As you probably know, he's dealing with the tragic car accident in Malibu earlier this month. Investigators are still looking into the crash but TMZ reports it's not likely he'll be charged with vehicular manslaughter because he wasn't speeding, texting or driving under the influence.

According to the Inquisitr, Bruce might also have plans to write a tell-all book about his life.

So is it time he grab his own spotlight in reality TV? Our guess is that only time (and ratings) will tell.
