Michael Keaton stars in the saddest Oscars moment ever?

Michael Keaton was all ready to accept an Oscar, but the only problem was that it didn't go to him.

In a heartbreaking vine that is going viral, the Birdman star is seen putting what many believe is his acceptance speech back into his suit jacket after Eddie Redmayne's name was just called for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 87th Academy Awards.

The 63-year-old actor still stand and applauds Redmayne who won for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. Although Keaton did not win this category, his film won for Best Picture and Best Director.

Whether he was prepared for the win or not, he did not seem phased at all at the Governors Ball post-Oscars. Keaton smiled with his Birdman director as Gonzales held up that golden statue.

Keaton is still a winner this awards show season. He won the Golden Globe for Best Actor, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a cast and the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actor.
